Prelude
Congratulations! on your advancement to becoming a leader within our agency! This is an exciting milestone that reflects both your dedication to the travel industry and your ability to guide others toward success.
Today, you begin training that will prepare you to lead your own team of agents. Upon completing this course, you will be invited to join a Zoom meeting where you’ll meet the new advisors our agency has brought onboard. This meeting will give you the opportunity to:
- Introduce yourself and share your story.
- Highlight your niche and areas of expertise.
- Set the tone for how you will support and serve your team.
Every advisor that joins your team will be equipped with the foundational tools they need to begin booking travel with confidence.
Recap of the 7-Day Onboarding Process for New Advisors
By the time they meet you, your team members will have already completed essential onboarding training. This includes:
- Certification in VAX and Norwegian Cruise Line.
- Receiving their Viator and Trawick International affiliate links.
- Access to their TESS account, which serves as their client management portal to track leads, bookings, and client details.
- Access to our approved supplier list, where they can continue their professional development.
Please note: Under our new onboarding policy, all agents must be certified with a supplier before they are permitted to book travel. This ensures compliance, professionalism, and a high standard of service across our agency.
As a mentor and leader, you will play an important role in reinforcing these standards while inspiring your team to grow their businesses with purpose and integrity.
Over the next 12 weeks, you’ll follow a step-by-step business growth and mentorship plan designed to help new advisors build confidence, sharpen their skills, and begin booking with success. Each week, our agency will send out a weekly email to all advisors with guidance, updates, and key reminders. Your role as a mentor is to reinforce and expand on this information with your team—breaking it down, answering questions, and providing the personalized direction they need to succeed.
As their leader, you are their first line of support. Your job is to make the content practical by guiding them through activities, ensuring they stay on track, and offering encouragement when challenges arise. If your advisors need clarification that you cannot provide, you’ll connect directly with the agency owner for further assistance. In this way, the agency provides the framework, and you provide the hands-on mentorship that transforms training into action.
This is an exciting opportunity to step into leadership, showcase your own niche and expertise, and build a thriving team. By the end of this journey, you’ll not only have a stronger business but also the confidence and systems to grow your influence as a leader in the travel industry.
